Archer Starlink Partnership Announced Ahead of UAE Flying Taxi Launch

Archer Starlink partnership adds satellite internet to UAE air taxis

Archer has announced a partnership with Starlink to install SpaceX’s low-Earth-orbit satellite broadband on its Midnight flying taxis as the company prepares for commercial operations in the United Arab Emirates. The move will provide in-flight internet for passengers and secure, low-latency links for pilot-to-ground communications ahead of the UAE launch.

Archer said the agreement will see Starlink terminals integrated into its four-seat Midnight eVTOL aircraft for testing and certification prior to commercial service. The company called the collaboration an industry-first between satellite broadband and an urban air-mobility operator.

“Connectivity is a must-have feature for Midnight,” said Adam Goldstein, founder and CEO of Archer. “Starlink is uniquely built to deliver it. This collaboration will enable seamless, high-speed connectivity for our passengers and pilots.”

Pre-Launch Testing Underway

Archer has been conducting regional flight testing and said the Starlink installation will be part of pre-commercial trials ahead of planned flying-taxi services in the United Arab Emirates. Regional reporting confirms the integration is timed to support the company’s UAE launch preparations.
