ABU DHABI: Citizens and residents across the UAE can now sign the national Pledge and Commitment online at pledge.ae, formally declaring their loyalty and allegiance to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and their dedication to the country’s values and future.
The digital platform extends an initiative launched in May 2026 that seeks to strengthen unity, coexistence and national belonging in the Emirates’ diverse society.

UAE Digital Platform pledge.ae Opens for National Pledge Signing
Participants visit the site, review the pledge text and complete a digital signature within minutes. Upon completion they receive a personalised Certificate of Appreciation bearing their name, which can be downloaded and shared.
The multilingual platform enables families to add members to the pledge and supports broad participation from citizens and expatriate residents alike.
Full Pledge Text Affirms Loyalty to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed
The pledge opens with the declaration: “Hand in hand, we, the citizens and residents of this blessed land: Pledge our loyalty and allegiance to our wise leader, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him.”
It continues by stating that His Highness embodies the country’s honour and dignity, provides security and safety, and serves as a towering model in dedication, service and love of country. The text commits participants, under his leadership, to remain loyal to the nation, live in peace and harmony, and pass on intrinsic national values to future generations.
The pledge concludes with the affirmation that, through His Highness, the United Arab Emirates raises its flag proudly and asserts its place in the world with confidence, capability and wisdom.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Inaugurates Initiative with 4,800 Attendees
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, launched the campaign at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. He signed the pledge document first and described the President as “a historic figure by every measure.”
More than 4,800 citizens, residents, students, academics, investors and community representatives attended the inaugural event.
Four Pillars Underpin Pledge and Commitment National Campaign
Organisers have built the initiative on four pillars: promoting coexistence and unity; drawing inspiration from the President’s leadership values; strengthening civic responsibility and national identity; and expressing gratitude for the UAE’s stability and prosperity.
Participants Receive Personalised Certificates After Signing
Everyone who completes the online process obtains a personalised certificate as a keepsake and a public expression of their commitment. The certificate serves as a tangible record of participation in the national effort.
Sandooq Al Watan Coordinates Online and Community Participation
Sandooq Al Watan, supported by Erth Zayed Philanthropies, leads the campaign. Participation continues through the pledge.ae platform, community events and institutional signings by companies, universities and organisations.
The platform remains open for new signatories, allowing individuals and families to add their names to the growing national record of loyalty and shared purpose.
