Salik has published a revised toll schedule for Ramadan 1447 AH (2026), introducing variable rates and a nightly free window. The changes set peak and low-peak charges and align toll timings with Ramadan travel patterns.

New Ramadan Salik toll fees structure

Salik’s Ramadan schedule sets differentiated charges by time and day. The operator confirmed the following framework for the Holy Month:

  • Monday–Saturday
    • AED 6 per crossing (peak): 9:00 to 17:00.
    • AED 4 per crossing (low-peak): 07:00 to 09:00 and 17:00 to 02:00.
    • Free: 02:00 to 07:00.
  • Sunday (regular Sundays, excluding public holidays/events)
    • AED 4 (day & evening): 07:00 to 02:00.
    • Free: 02:00 to 07:00.

The revised timetable replaces the standard year-round toll window for the Ramadan period.

Variable pricing and coordination with other emirates

Salik’s adjustment introduces a variable pricing approach for Ramadan, reducing evening charges to support increased night travel. Abu Dhabi’s Darb operator issued a similar Ramadan timetable, with aligned reductions and timing changes reported across the UAE. These coordinated moves appear intended to synchronise toll operations with modified work and school hours during the month.

Dubai authorities have also adjusted public parking schedules for Ramadan. Paid parking windows and free parking intervals were revised to match the month’s altered daily rhythms. The combined updates cover tolling and urban parking management for the Ramadan period.

  • Toll charges will apply per crossing under the new schedule.
  • Nighttime crossings between 02:00 and 07:00 are exempt from Salik tolls during Ramadan.
  • Sunday rates differ from weekday rates; drivers should check local notices for holiday exceptions.
