Free health screenings Dubai parks medical bus before Iftar

Dubai, UAE – Dubai authorities have rolled out a free health-screening programme at several public parks for the Holy Month of Ramadan. The outreach, timed to take place before Iftar, is intended to catch common conditions early and make quick checks more convenient for people visiting the emirate’s outdoor spaces.

Free Services Being Offered

Free medical services will include:

  • Eye examinations
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Blood glucose testing

The screenings are basic but practical — aimed at spotting chronic issues early and giving quick, usable information to those tested.

  • Nad Al Sheba Park

Teams will be on site from 4:00 pm until the Maghrib call to prayer, and hours may be extended if there’s heavy demand. The dates confirmed for the visits are 26 February, 5 March, and 12 March.

Organisers & Partners

The programme is part of the “Step of Life” Ramadan campaign run by the Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD). Delivery partners named for the initiative are Prime Medical Care and the Noor Dubai Foundation. Officials say medical staff from these organisations will staff the mobile units.

Organisers say the drive is meant to make routine checks easier during Ramadan, when families often spend time outdoors before breaking their fast. By placing mobile units in busy park locations, the campaign aims to reach people who might not otherwise make time for a health check.
