Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the association, said the initiative coincided with Zayed Humanitarian Day and reflected the legacy of giving established by the late UAE leader. He added the programme “brought joy to thousands of fasting individuals” and underlined the role of community partnerships in amplifying humanitarian work.

The distribution marked Zayed Humanitarian Day, an occasion observed in the UAE during Ramadan to honour the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The charity said the timing aimed to reinforce the spirit of charity and solidarity during the holy month.
